Es beginnt alles mit einer Idee.

Geboren am Niederrhein, aufgewachsen als Schwabe im Allgäu, heute Bauingenieur – aber vor allem begeisterter Radfahrer. Wie viele bin ich während der Corona-Zeit zum Radfahren gekommen, doch besonders das Graveln hat mich sofort gepackt. Mein beruflich bedingter Optimierungsdrang ließ mich schnell tiefer eintauchen: Neue Teile, Upgrades, komplette Neuaufbauten – immer auf der Suche nach dem perfekten Setup.

All das, was ich auf dieser Reise gelernt habe und noch lernen werde, teile ich hier. Mein Ziel? Licht ins oft komplizierte Universum der Gravel- und Adventure-Bikes zu bringen und anderen dabei zu helfen, ihr eigenes Traumrad zu finden und zu verbessern.

Born in the Lower Rhine region, raised as a Swabian in the Allgäu, and a civil engineer by profession—but above all, a passionate cyclist. Like many, I got into cycling during the pandemic, but gravel riding quickly became more than just a hobby. My engineer’s mindset soon took over, pushing me to experiment with upgrades, new components, and even full bike builds—always in search of the perfect setup.

Everything I’ve learned along the way (and continue to learn), I share here. My goal? To make the often-complicated world of gravel and adventure bikes more accessible and help others build, refine, and enjoy their dream setups.
